In my drowsy, dozing state early this morning, I became aware of music. It was a little after 2 AM. Kelly had gotten up to go to the bathroom which brought me out of a deep sleep. When I awoke, I could’ve sworn that I had heard musical tones, almost like a church bell’s chiming somewhere, but whatever I heard (or thought I heard) seemed to stop when I awoke.

Friday, July 25th, 2008Finding proof
Friday, July 25th, 2008I’ve been reading comments at Michael Prescott’s blog regarding Edgar Mitchell’s recent claims that aliens made contact with humans over 60 years ago and that this information has been covered up. What got my attention more than Dr. Mitchell’s comments are the comments of Prescott’s blog visitors, many of whom say they want “concrete proof” of UFOs or aliens.
That got me thinking (as I am wont to do) … how does one define “concrete proof?” What would it take?

Peace tunnel dream
Wednesday, July 16th, 2008I had a dream that turned lucid early this morning. In it, I was taking part in a peace parade in Minneapolis or Milwaukee. The musician Prince was somehow involved, so I’m guessing it was Minneapolis. I think Prince was also involved because the dream involved the Underground Railroad in some way, and at one point Prince called himself a ‘slave’ to his recording contract. (more…)
Meeting the Romulans
Sunday, July 6th, 2008In a dream last night I encountered a benevolent, human-like race of people. Their name consisted of seven-letter word that I first thought began with an “N” but woke up thinking “Romulan.” Which of course got me thinking I watched too many Star Trek episodes as a kid.
Anyway, the Romulan people look human-like in every respect except for their eyes. When a Romulan looks at you it seems he looks right through you. I think the intelligence or something in their eyes is a bit startling. If one is not the object of that gaze one mightd never discern a Romulan from an Earth human.
I met the one Romulan gentleman on his home planet (or ship, for all I know) and found him to be extremely friendly and open, patiently answering all of my questions about their history. When I realized that Romulans could easily walk among us on Earth, my host nodded with an acknowledging grin.
I was somewhat lucid during this dream, too: enough that I thought to remind myself to capture as much of this upon waking as I could. So here it is. Normally my lucid dreams don’t include interactions with other personalities so I find this one intriguing.
I hope to meet the Romulans again and explore more of their world.
